With only wo days left before the end of the competition, the riders only have one thing in mind :  fight in slalom. Wind decided otherwise today. With a wind oscillating between 7 and 15 knots from the northeast to the east at the end of the day, the race director sent three foil heats for the men.

Gonzalo Costa wins the last two races of the day and thus retains the lead of the provisional rankings in foil. Poland's Maciek Rutkowski (POL23) climbs to 2nd place. Thanks to his 3rd place on the last race of the day, Nicolas Goyard (FR465) climbed to 3rd place in the provisional . His brother Thomas closely follows him, tailed by Antoine Questel (FRA99) and Benjamin Tillier (NC39) who made a poor performance on the last run (8th). The women  did not race in foil on this edition.  eight sailors needed to start a race.

First assessment at two-thirds of the competition

On the women's side, Delphine Cousin is currently leading the provisional classification of the stage. For the French to grab the 1st place in the world rankings, she would have to win the event and Sarah-Quita finish 4th. But nothing is done even though the Caribbean Offringa is well established in her race. There are two days of competition left.

In men, the tension is palpable. For the moment on the stage, it is Albeau who dominates,  fighting it off with Iachino Matteo in 2nd place of the provisional. Pierre Mortefon is in 3rd place and William Ross is 7th. William Ross must get back to 6th place on the stage to overtake Pierre Mortefon in the world rankings.
